Cloud Cover Coffee – Kenya Gondo Factory

The Gondo Wet Mill in the northwestern sector of Kenyan’s Central Highlands collects cherries from 727 members of the cooperative, all with small holdings of around 50 coffee trees. Gondo is also part of a larger 3 wet mill cooperative that in all boasts 2,469 members across the region. Kenyan coffees are often amongst the highest graded coffees year after year and have a high level of complexity. This particular lot has a bright acidity balanced with a nice sweetness and notes of papaya, complex citrus and yellow birthday cake.
