NZ Hop Week Box 2025

Help us celebrate one of our favorite holidays, NZ Hop Week, with this special box.

This box contains 24 beers – one 4-pack of each of the following: Kiwi Squabble, Lolly Cake, Magic Green Nuggets, TDH All NZ Everything, and Juice Scrum. Plus 2 cans of each Hi, Motueka variety.

Hi, Motueka – Nelson Lakes
Hi, Motueka is a celebration of an OH favorite Motueka hops. In this case we have 2 versions of this IPA to explore the variances introduced by climate, soil and place. This particular version has Nelson Lakes grown Motueka which is 2 hours drive and deeper in the mountains than the main growing region around Nelson, NZ. A little deeper and danker with notes of lemon-lime and tropcial fruit. This farm has lower average temps leading to a longer growing seasons and is a little higher elevation. Compare to our Sunrise Valley edtion of Hi, Motueka to fully understand the differences. (6.8%)

Hi, Motueka – Sunrise Valley
Hi, Motueka is a celebration of an OH favorite Motueka hops. In this case we have 2 versions of this IPA to explore the variances introduced by climate, soil and place. This particular version has Sunrise Valley grown Motueka from the Upper Moutere Valley near Nelson, NZ. Warmer and lower elevation than Nelson Lakes, it has shorter growing season. This lot has subtle sweet tropical notes and round citrus character with less dankness. Compare it to our Nelson Lakes edition of Hi, Motueka to fully understand the the differences. (6.8%)

Kiwi Squabble
Territorial by nature the Kiwi bird, a nocturnal, slightly winged bird, often fights with its neighbors about hop preferences resulting in violent squabbles. Of particular interest is their common disagreement over whether Nelson Sauvin or Nectaron is better. Silly birds, we all know Southern Cross is best. (8.0%)

Lolly Cake
This Imperial IPA has a unique yeast and hop profile made using a new liquid form of thiol compound boosting Phantasm. Thiols in beers give big notes of passion fruit and other tropical fruits that melds well with the delicious hops we picked from Freestyle: Peacharine, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. (7.9%)

Magic Green Nuggets
Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with 100% Freestyle grown NZ Cascade hops. NZ Cascade has light tropical and lime zest character which stands out very differently from Pacific NW grown Cascade. (8.5%)

TDH All NZ Everything
If it’s All NZ Everything it has to be 3 of New Zealand’s most famous hops: Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron. This beer has intense notes of sweet citrus and stone fruit with some good old NZ dankness. (8.5%)

Juice Scrum
We wanted to acknowledge New Zealand’s love affair with rugby by adding Juice Scrum to our juice series offerings. Packed with Superdelic, Riwaka, Nectaron and Motueka this beer is the perfect balance of fruitiness and dank. (6.5%)

Orders will start shipping on Tuesday, July 29th 2025. Any order placed after Monday, July 28th at 10 am will not ship until Tuesday, August 5th 2025. There will be a $14 shipping & handling fee per box for these states as we work with a 3rd party shipper.⁠ Deliveries from our third party shipper may take 7-10 days to arrive AFTER shipping, so please be patient.
