Past and Present Export Stout (7.50%) – Originating in the UK, Export Stouts were traditionally brewed with higher alcohol content and more hops than domestic ones to survive the long trip at sea to warmer climates. Our version has enough malt character, body, and mellow roast to make a robust stout suitable for export but with the addition of new-school Sabro hops that impart a low level of coconut-like character as a nod to the Caribbean countries where these beers remain popular today.
